Pagan and going to Gatlinburg Tennessee and need to know….?
if there are any good metaphysical stores, antique shops, or some really nice craft shops near where we will be staying. We will be staying at the Clarion Suites. I can’t wait! It is magickal when you go to the mountains. It is like stepping into another time. Since I am Pagan, I always feel like I get recharged when I go. Any good places to visit that are not tourist traps and such? This is a getaway for me and my husband (no kids- yeah) so let’s keep it adult oriented please. LOL

Alakazam – never been to Gatlinburge since I was 15 (38 now) live in Kentucky till I was 23 then moved to North Carolina.

I lived very near Gatlinburg for a couple years. It is VERY heavily Christian influenced. Most stores reflect his fact. However, just walk up and down the streets with an open mind, and you will be able to find some really neat stuff like handmade beeswax candles, crystals, beatiful handmade clothing, carved puzzle boxes, etc. As I said, just keep and open mind. There is a lovely nature store called, Beneath the Smoke just on the East side of Gatlinburg you may like.
